Thursday, October 24th

Today we FINALLY had an opportunity to use the leaves that were collected back in September! We listened to the story "We're Going on a Leaf Hunt" and then made leaf art using our leaves as inspiration! Students looked through the leaves and chose one or two that caught their eye to sketch. Then they used water colour paints for the first time to add realistic colouring to their work. It turned out so great!

We also took some of our pumpkin seeds from yesterday and planted them! Stay tuned to see if they grow! Miss Aebli and Miss Schafer brought back roasted pumpkin seeds for everyone to try and they were yummy! Nearly all students enjoyed the taste and asked for second and third helpings. It didn't take long before all the seeds were gone!

Miss Aebli's class had centre time today. Miss Schafer's AM group went to gym. The PM group had music.
