Volunteering
Hi Parents!
We have had some inquires about volunteering. We would love to have you! If you are able to donate your time, please complete a criminal check and bring it to Mrs. Tunney in the office. When you have given this information to Mrs. Tunney to photocopy and keep on file, she will ask you to fill out a demographic form for the school as well. Then, you can email your child's teacher and arrange a time to come in and help with some important jobs.
We may also have the opportunity to go on a few field trips later in the year and will need volunteers, so now might be a good time to obtain your criminal check so you don't have to worry about it then.
If you are unable to donate your time in the classroom during the day, but you would like to help out in some way, let your child's teacher know and they can keep your name in mind, as there may be some "at-home" jobs that could be done throughout the year (ie. making a fresh batch of play-doh, putting together Scholastic book-order packs, collecting materials needed for certain crafts/projects, simple cutting tasks, etc.)
