Happy Friday!
It seems like forever since we have had an AM kindergarten class on a Friday! As usual, we started our Friday with playing '4 Corners' in the gym with Ms. Schafer and Mrs. Fatica. Afterwards, we were joined by our Grade 2/3 Buddies to learn a new math game, "Greater than or Less than FACE OFF". After removing all the face cards and jokers from their deck, in partners, students took turns flipping one card each from the deck. Depending on which version they chose to play, they needed to determine which player's card was greater than or less than. Our older buddies were super supportive during our game of FACE OFF! When we were finished we had snack, did a quick yoga body-break and then had time for free-play centres. At the end of our day, we came together to sing songs before we needed to get all of our winter gear on to head home for the weekend!
