We hope you enjoyed your long weekend!

Before going to the Learning Commons today we had a special presentation from some of our Grade 2/3 buddies! They came both in the AM and PM to practice their reader's theatre for us!

We continued learning about numbers and the different ways to represent a number. Today we showed the number 2 in six different ways! Ask your child if they can remember them all. Hint: word, number, tally marks, ten-frame, on a dice, and with a picture of 2 objects of their choice. They did a great job!

Miss Schafer's AM group had music and gym this morning, while Miss Aebli's group had centre time. The PM group had time to explore the centres as well.

We also noticed that our pumpkin sprouts grew a LOT over the weekend...check them out!

REMINDERS:

There will be some times throughout the year where we hope to take our learning outside. Please make sure that your child is dressed appropriately for the weather everyday so that we are able to enjoy the outdoors and get some fresh air on these occasions. ☺
