Happy Mindful Monday! We can't believe that it is already December!
Today we continued learning about the "Zones of Regulation", and focused on the YELLOW zone, but first we read the story, "We Don't Eat Our Classmates". It was a funny story, that made us laugh and get a bit silly! We learned that being silly is a yellow zone behaviour. We also learned that being wiggly, excited, worried, surprised, scared, or annoyed can be yellow zone behaviours/feelings too.
Next we drew a silly/scared/surprised face in our visual journals and wrote words to describe the yellow zone.
Miss Schafer's AM group explored the centres. Miss Aebli's AM group went to gym. The PM group had centre time before going to gym as well.
