Monday, December 9th

Thank you so much for attending our Parent Teacher Conferences last week! We enjoyed connecting with you and sharing some of the work we have done in Kindergarten so far.

For today's Mindful Monday task, we focused on the RED zone. Ask your child what this looks/feels like (hint: angry, embarrassed, yelling, fighting, etc). Then we drew a picture and copied words in our journals to represent the red zone.

Miss Aebli's class had gym this morning. We played a game where Miss Aebli gave clues about an animal and the students had to guess what it was. Once the correct answer was revealed, everyone had to move around the gym like that animal. Ask your child if they can remember some of the animal movements they practiced! Miss Schafer's AM group had centre time. The PM group also had time at our centres before going to gym with Mrs. O.
