Tuesday, December 10th

All students went to the Learning Commons today and most got to pick out a new book! If you forgot to return yours today, you can bring it in tomorrow.

We continued our work with PATTERNS! We talked about what we remembered about patterns from last time, and then watched a few more videos about patterns! Next we had the opportunity to make our OWN patterns! We did such a great job! Some students made colour patterns, some made shape patterns, and some put BOTH together to make a complex pattern! Wow!

Check out some of our patterns using manipulatives.

Miss Aebli and Miss Schafer's classes switched music/gym times today. Miss Aebli's AM group went to music and gym and Miss Schafer's group had centre time.

Mrs. Gross came to visit and introduce herself to Miss Schafer's students! Mrs. Gross has been working at Bridlewood School for a few years. She was on maternity leave after having a baby boy! She will be returning in January and we will be saying goodbye to Miss Schafer. We will be sad to see her go, but we are excited to get to know Mrs. G! Miss Schafer hopes to continue to spend time in our school volunteering in the Kindergarten classes.

The PM group also had centre time and met Mrs. G!
