Happy Monday! We hope you were able to stay warm over the weekend! Warmer temperatures are on the horizon! ☺

For today's Mindful Monday activity, we read the story "How Do Dinosaurs Go to School?" and then introduced the terms "expected behaviour" and "unexpected behaviour". Ask your child what these mean. What is an unexpected behaviour that we might see in the classroom? What is an expected behaviour?

We brainstormed examples of behaviours that are expected and unexpected at school. Then students shared their understanding in their visual journals and drew pictures of each.

Miss Aebli's AM group went to gym today. We practiced throwing and catching a ball with scoops. Miss G's AM group had centre time. The PM group also had centre time before going to gym with Mrs. O.
