Thursday, January 16th
Today we re-visited what we learned yesterday about the letter D! We reviewed the sound it makes and what words start with D. Then we brainstormed some ideas and each student picked their favourite D words to draw in their journals. Some students challenged themselves to copy these words from the board. Everyone did a great job!
REMINDERS:
We have many students who do not usually come to school with their communication bags. We have some important notices that will be going home next week, so we ask that you please send these back to school with your kiddos! Even though we do not often send things home, it is beneficial for our students to get into the habit of following a routine, and coming with/going home with their communication bags each day is a good way to practice this skill. Thank you for your support! ☺
The oral health nurse will be back on the 21st to continue fluoride treatments.
Tomorrow is an AM day.
Please return your child's report card envelopes to be used again at the end of the year. Thank you!
Mrs. G's AM group had gym this morning. Miss Aebli's group had centre time. The PM group had music with Mrs. Fatica and centre time!
