Our letter of the day today is P! Ask your child to tell you what sound this letter makes. What words start with P? We brainstormed many P words and then practiced writing uppercase Ps in our visual journals. Mrs. G's classes drew pictures of things that start with P. Miss Aebli's group learned that P stands for PLACE and students drew a picture of their favourite place to be!

Mrs. G's students had music and gym this morning. Miss Aebli's group had centre time, and they got to try out the two new centres! Ask you child what they are!

REMIDERS:

This Friday is a PM day. 

We have invited "Scientists in Schools" to visit so we can explore some SCIENCE! They will be running their "Winter Wonders" program. This program involves a variety of interactive and hands on stations that need to be run by an adult. For this reason, each class is required to provide 3 parent volunteers to help assist and ensure that everything runs smoothly. If you have completed your police clearance and you are available and interested, please email your child's teacher to let them know! Thank you!
