Happy Friday!
This morning the AM classes had some time in the gym. We played Line Tag!
Then we spent time with our buddies and conducted buddy interviews! We asked questions to learn more about each other. The Grade 2/3s wrote down the Kinder's answers and the Kinders drew pictures of their buddies responses. Most buddy groups also had time to play a math game.
Since we ran out of time to do this on Wednesday, the AM classes drew pictures in their visual journals to show what they learned from Constable Gemma. They did a great job!
All students also had centre time!

Don't forget to ask your child about the kindness story of the day! ☺
Next week is a short week! No school on February 13th, 14th, or 17th. We will be watching a kindness/friendship video on Wednesday the 12th and students will have an opportunity to hand out Valentines. If you'd like to bring a snack or treat to share on this day as part of our friendship celebration you are welcome to!
