Students chose a new library book today! We have a number of kiddos with over-due books that have not been returned. Please remember that your child can only have one book at a time, and if they have not returned their book they are not able to pick a new one when we go to the Learning Commons together. If your child has misplaced their book, contact your child's teacher. There is usually a small fee that can be paid to replace the missing book and your child will be able to pick a new one next time.

Ask your child about today's kindness story of the day. What was it about? How was kindness shown in the story?

Today we worked on representing the number SEVEN in multiple ways. This time, we had to think REALLY hard about how to show 7 on a dice, when we could only find numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6! Ask your child how we solved this problem. How many dice did we have to draw? What are the different three ways we could represent seven?

Mrs. G's AM class had music and gym today! They got to play Mission Impossible for the first time! Miss Aebli's group explored some of the new centres! The PM group also had centre time today.

Yesterday we sent out an important notice about Valentine's Day. Please check your child's backpack for this if you have not already. 

Friday is an AM day.
