Happy March! Parent Teacher Conferences and Spring Break will be here before we know it.

Today students in Miss Aebli's class worked on making a HEART map, since we learned the letter H on Friday! We read two stories - "My Map Book" and "In My Heart" and talked about the things that fill our hearts with happiness (another H word ☺). They then drew out their own heart map with things that they love. They did a GREAT job! We will be finishing these tomorrow. Mrs. G's classes will be doing this later in the week.

Miss Aebli's class also went to gym today. We buddied up with Mr. Mori's Grade 4/5 class and played a VERY fun game using scooters and cones. Ask your child to tell you about "Builders and Bulldozers"! 

Mrs. G's AM class began talking about hibernation and bears. We took some of the wonders that students shared a few weeks ago and have decided to narrow in on one topic. We will be embarking on an inquiry and learning lots more about three different kinds of bears! Students shared what they already know about bears, and what they want to know. 

Mrs. G's AM class had centre time. There are many new centres! Ask your child about them. 

Mrs. G's PM had their first session with Evergreen Theatre! They will be working with Bridlewood students for the next two weeks. The PM group will be working with them this week to turn a part of their learning into a performance! The PM class will be putting on their play this Friday! Parents are encouraged to come and watch the kiddos perform and share their learning. The AM classes will work with Evergreen Theatre next week, and their performance will be on Friday as well. The PM class also had gym today. 

REMINDERS:

This Friday is a PM day. 

The PM class will be sharing their work with Evergreen Theatre and performing on Friday! Performances will begin at 10:15.
