Update

Dear Kindergarten Families,

We truly enjoy every day spent with your children, and we have come to develop very meaningful relationships with each and every individual student who walks through our doors. We are disappointed, to say the least, that we will not be able to continue our learning this week or meet with you at conferences to share the wonderful things your children have accomplished since we last met. We are hoping that there is more clarity in terms of what the future holds at the end of this month, once our regularly scheduled break concludes. It is our sincere hope that we will be able to continue to have fun, learn, and grow together.

In Kindergarten, we hold many conversations about kindness, and we have come to learn that kindness can go a long way. Throughout this uncertain and difficult time, please remember to take care of each other, to love one another, to have hope, stay positive, show kindness, express compassion, spend time with your family, laugh, have conversations, read, get outside, and stay active.

Though some families may be unable to physically come together during this time, our Grade 1 team here at Bridlewood School has thought of a way that we can continue to spread kindness and cheer. They suggest drawing and colouring pictures of something that brings happiness to you and your family, and putting them up in your front window. Our wish is that this joy will spread and give strength to members of our community when it is needed most.

We are unsure of what will happen next, but please stay tuned for updates that will be sent out as more information becomes available to us, and as always, please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions.

Take good care of yourselves,

Miss Aebli and Mrs. Gross
