Message to Families
Thank you for joining us on our first Google Meet yesterday!
For our first attempt, we think it went pretty well overall and we are sure it will become easier and more familiar to us all as we continue having more meetings with each other. If you were unable to access the meet or have any questions at all, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.
Moving forward, we plan on holding a weekly Google Meet. We want you to know that attendance is not mandatory each time, but that during our designated time slots we will be online and available for anyone who wishes to join. We will be able to continue chatting and sharing what we have been up to, we can play virtual games with each other, read stories, share favourite objects/items from our homes, show pictures we've drawn recently, introduce our pets, etc.
These meetings will go for roughly 30 minutes.
Our meeting times will be held on Thursdays each week.

To access the meet, log onto your child's Google Account using the info that was emailed to you, and click the following link. Then click on "Join or Start a Meeting" and enter your child's class code/nickname.

At this time, our priority is familiarizing ourselves with Google Meet, and if/when we make the move to utilizing Google Classroom, we will let you know. Continue checking the blog for updates and activity suggestions until further notice.

It was so great to see some of your faces and hear about some of the things that you have been doing since we last saw each other. Many of you are following along with our weekly suggestions, spending time outside, playing games with your families, and doing lots of other learning in a variety of ways.
